Meet The Faculty

Monica Rynes:

Owner/Director of RC Dance & Gymnastics.  Monica began her training at age 3 in Milwaukee where she studied tap, ballet, jazz, modern, and gymnastics for 15 years. She received her BA in Communications with a minor in dance from UW-Stevens Point. Throughout her dance career she has performed with the dance company "Young America", received summer scholarships with Giordano Jazz Company of Chicago, Joseph Holmes Dance, and has studied with many great names, Henry LeTang, Joel Hall, Randy Duncan, and James Moore to name a few. Along with dance she was also a competitive gymnast for 8 years. She began teaching dance & gymnastics when she was 16 years old in Milwaukee and continued through college. She is very involved in the community of Richland Center and has worked with the Southwest Community Players helping with choreography for many years. Monica is married to Mike Rynes, owner of RC Truck & Auto in Richland Center, and has three children, Adam, Abby, and Ellie. Her goal is to provide quality classes for children and give them the opportunity to experience dance and Gymnastics while growing into self-confident, happy, healthy adults.


Abby Weers:

Abby started dancing with RCDG at age 5.  She was assisting with classes by age 13.  Upon graduation from RCHS, Abby received her BA in Business from UW-Richland.  She is married to Justin Weers and is also employed at the Richland Center Hospital.  She has been dancing and teaching with RCDG for the past 18 years.  She works with all ages of dancers and the kids love her!


Carly Fish:

Carly started dance and gymnastics at age 3.  She started assisting with gymnastis classes at age 15.  She is a graduate of RCHS.  Carly is the head of our RCDG recreational gymnastics program.  She is also assistant team coach to our AAU competitive gymnastics team.  Carly has a love for gymnastics, being a former Level 8 gymnast herself, and it shows in her teaching.  You will find her at the gym 6 days a week.  Carly has one daughter, Sophia, who is turning into quite the little gymnast herself.

Jill Tjossem:

Jill has been teaching at RCDG since 2000.  Jill teaches our Saturday morning Dance Basics classes and loves to work with the littles.  Jill is also a science teacher at Richland Center High School.  Jill is married to Shawn Tjossem and they have three children, Gracie, Gavin, and Gabriel who we are proud to say are all RCDG Dancers.  

Amy Fleeharty:

Amy began assistanting at RCDG in 2011.  As the mother of 4 dancing daughters she found herself spending alot of time in our lobby so we thought we should put her to work.   After 7 years of assisting with Dance Basics and Tots Tumbling it was time to start teaching her own classes.  Amy and her husband Rick live in Viola with their 4 girls, Ayden, Delayni, Neyla, and Harlow who are all involved in dance and gymnastics.  RCDG is their second home!
